The Sony DAV HDX589W is an integrated system which includes a single tray-loaded, 5-disc DVD/Video, CD/Audio, CD changer/receiver, and a 6-piece speaker system with a passive subwoofer.
In addition, the system includes the TDM-iP20 Digital Media Port iPod Adapter which allows you to connect your iPod to the system and a S-AIR Wireless Surround Sound Rear Amplifier which allows you to place the pair of rear speakers in your room without running speaker wire from the DAV HDX589W to the speakers. The supplied remote control can control this unit, plus a Sony TV.
